About the Artist

Wendy D. Irvine is a Canadian painter, illustrator and portraitist.

Her experience in different art forms has been wide and varied. Through contracts and commissions, she has provided many portraits and pieces of artwork for clients, and illustrations for the Federal Government of Canada, Government of the Northwest Territories, and Prince Edward Island.

She has also designed logos for two of these organizations.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Wendy has lived in Winnipeg and St. Norbert, Manitoba, Yellowknife, NWT, Victoria, BC (member of the Island Illustrators Association), Calgary and Okotoks, Alberta (member of the Canadian Federation of Artists), Charlottetown, PEI, in a farmhouse in Québec and for a time in Miami, Florida. She now resides in the picturesque town of Parrsboro in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia with her husband, Steve and son, Mike.
